Low impact, medium-intensity class for those with muscle or joint issue, pre/post-natal moms, post-op recovery patients, those managing their weight, and anyone who wants to build cardio and muscle strength, endurance and flexibility through a body-friendly shallow-water workout. Please bring a release note from your doctor to the first class. All fitness levels welcome!
Class begins with a warm-up and stretch in the Leisure Pool. Then moves into the Coompetition pool for a fun-filled full body workout that targets core strength, cardiovascular endurance, muscle toning and balance. Buoyancy belts, noodles and training buoys are used to add resistance for a total body workout. A variety of ecercises and performed to get your adrenaline going and body energized. Class returns to the Leisure Pool for a final gentle stretch.
: Marries the principles of the Pilates method with the benefits of water exercise. Poolates help improve posture, build core strength, enhance flexibility and develop balance and stability. Poolates does all this in one simple workout that leaves the participants feeling refreshed and invigorated.
